- You must go the the Lab before you do anything else involving Roleplay. There they get their beginning Pokémon for the region; they can have gone on region journey's before, but they have a clean slate when starting in Togainu.
- You must go to the boards in the order they are set. From the Lab you go to Route One. Then Chorus City, etc. The Secondary Regions can be accessed at any time between a Route or Town. This so so in the middle of a battle or something similar on a Route or in a Town, you cannot go to a Secondary Regions board and catch a Pokémon, and use it in the battle. You must be in between somewhere to perform any acts in those boards.
- Pokémon can learn up to four attacks. If they know four, and they want them to learn a new attack, simply remove an unwanted one and replace it with the new one. This Pokémon must be at the correct level to learn the move, however. If you are unsure about levels or ways to evolve you can look at several online Pokedexs, or ask a Staff member.
- Pokémon that need to be evolved through trading will continue that course as normal. In any two Pokémon Centers or in the Secondary Region board that allows two trainers to meet and trade, two Pokémon may be traded by Pokedex to allow any two or one Pokémon to evolve. They also may be immediately traded back if you choose this to happen. This might sound a little confusing so let me explain.
In one Pokémon Center, Red has an Onix holding a Metal Coat. In a Pokémon Center further down the Region, Blue has a Kadabra. Both, with the supervision of a 'Center staff member ((Moderator)) may then use the trade machine and Pokedexs to transfer and therefore trade the Pokémon. When Blue receives the Onix, it promptly evolves into Steelix. When Red receives Kadabra, it does the same into Alakazam. Then two trainers quickly trade back their new Pokémon to the respectful owners.
c: Hopefully that was a helpful enough explanation. Any questions can be answered by Staff. For Pokémon like Leafeon and Glaceon, there will be a specific location to evolve them.- TMs and HMs are peculiar little items aren't they? When teaching a Pokémon an Technical Machine or a Hidden Machine ICly, simply raise the disc to the Pokémon's head and the move will be learned. In the instance of a TM, it will then be an empty disc which you may discard; HMs can be used multiple times.
- When battling in a one-on-one (even if you're using all the Pokémon in your team) all Pokémon that participated will gain the same amount of Exp points which is determined by the level of the opponent. Each Pokémon gains a level at 100 Exp points until Level 100. The amount you gain will lower when your level grows, or if your opponent's Pokémon is on a lower level. (That being, a Pokémon level 50 battling a level 20 will not get the same amount of Exp as two Level 20 Pokémon battling each other) You may battle another trainer without Moderator supervision, but Pokémon will not gain levels until/unless a Mod is contacted and determines how many points each Pokémon gain. Wild Pokémon are always roleplayed by staff so this is no problem.
- You cannot constantly dodge. Be realistic. A big Pokémon like Slaking cannot easily dodge a small, swift Pokémon like Furret. If items like Speed X and things are used, an extra note must be used that the Pokémon's speed it more than regular.
- In the instance you are roleplaying with another member in a battle, keep previous rule in mind. Dodging the other's attacks and such. Also take status effects into consideration, too. Things such as paralyzation, poison, infatuation, lowered accuracies (sand attack) and other things as well. But don't forget, there are various items which can be used to heal these things. c:
- While traveling in Togainu, please keep in mind there are Gyms. They will make you stronger, but no one's going to force you to participate. You are traveling through Togainu for your own goals, whatever that may be. Maybe it's to get a successful amount of Pokémon and be a breeder, or maybe train to be a Gym Leader or something of the like.
If you think there is anything that should be added to these rules please PM me, Zero, or another Staff member.
